Newborn Baby Photographer Boulder

Freya’s family drove all the way from Casper, Wyoming for their baby’s first photo session.  I think the drive was worth it!  I knew this newborn photo session was going to be amazing when I first layed eyes on Freya.  Look at these cheeks!  This is what happens when nine pounds of pure baby goodness come into my studio.  Freya’s mom loved the newborn photography from my garden in the summertime, so we brought the garden inside.  I love the pinks and bright colors against the beautiful brown of the teak floors and creamy baby skin.  The froggy pose perfectly highlights those amazing cheeks and the mix of bright blue and grey is so simple and pretty.  This was such a fun photo session.  Freya was such a beautiful baby to pose.  I will definitely be posting a lot more photography from this session, I just couldn’t resist posting this peek for her family to see while I edit the rest.  Enjoy!

For this photo session I used: Flowers from Whole Foods, my beautiful hand scraped teak floors, jd vintage props basket and pink fur, headband so chic hair pretty, natural light, my trusty Nikon D800, My beautiful 50mm 1.4 lens, and for the wide angle, I used my 24-70 2.8.  The frog pose is a composite rendered in Photoshop CS6.  All photos taken in my newborn photography studio in Boulder, Colorado.
