These are not the normal high school portraits in Boulder, Co. Under every rock in this great, artistic town you’ll find a photographer. This motivates me to keep finding new and different locations. It encourages me to refine my subject’s posing and be creative. It challenges me to not only make sure the lighting is perfect in every image, but to continue my education in the art of post processing and artwork. I think we got some really creative and beautiful images out of our morning together that won’t look like anyone else’s senior photos. It was one of those rare overcast Colorado days where the light is soft and looks great everywhere. Riley is beyond beautiful, she just eats up the camera with her pretty eyes and amazing smile. I’m loving reconnecting with the students I had back when I taught 5th grade. This family really stole my heart when I was teaching, and I can’t wait to photograph Riley’s twin Jesse next week.
