This cute baby boy came in for his six month photo session in my studio and garden.  The last time he came, it was the middle of winter and little Isaac was just smiling.  Now he’s sitting up, laughing, cooing and totally engaged.  Throughout the first year photo collection, I try to capture the changes throughout the year.  I want to capture each major milestone.  As a newborn it’s the sleepy perfection that I photograph.  At three months, it’s a very simple and quick photo session all about the smile and close ups of bright baby eyes.  Around six months babies are beginning to sit up and they’re really able to look and engage with happiness.  The nine month photo session is all about capturing tiny legs learning to stand up on their own.  Then finally at the one year session I focus on first steps, first teeth, and family love.  The year ticks by so quickly.  I love photographing every stage for you so you don’t have to.  At the end of the year every family gets a beautiful custom photo album of their favorite images from the year.  This coffee table book becomes more of a treasure with each passing year.

I really like the simple, casual clothing this family chose for their photo session.  The soft overalls are such a perfect choice for baby Isaac.  They are timeless and cute but don’t take away from Isaac’s sweet baby face or distract from the photos.  We started the session in my garden and I took a few photos of Isaac smiling and sitting up.  I couldn’t resist a little close up of his toes.  Next, we went out to my garden where it’s deep emerald green right now.  We took some family photos, blew lots of sticky bubbles, and played peek-a-boo as Isaac smiled away.  I am already looking forward to Isaac’s nine month session when I get to photograph him learning to stand.
