Boulder Senior Photographer Fancy Senior Photo Session

Smitten & Swoon is a Boulder Senior Photographer and we had a fancy senior photo session.  Sage flew out here from Michigan for her senior photos.  She wanted something different than anything else in Michigan, so she opted for mountains, pastures and really fancy.  I love the idea of wearing the fanciest dress imaginable for a senior photo session.  It’s fun to get creative and have major contrast in pictures. Paired with a casual field as the sun is setting, the contrast of fancy and natural are stunning.  I don’t think I’ve ever photographed someone with eyes as big as Sage’s.  She looks so beautiful dancing in the field in her pink dress.  Smiling in all that sunshine.  Her beautiful family joined the photo session for some pictures together.  With every senior photo session, family pictures are included.  This family had so much gratitude for each other.  In this fancy senior photo session the love just spills from the pictures.

The best part about senior photography is that I get to show my seniors how beautiful they are.  After years studying women in glamorous magazines, it’s easy to believe being that beautiful is impossible.  It’s hard to be super confident when we’re barraged by perfect models in magazines and commercials every day.  Your senior photo session is probably the only time in your life when you get a photographer completely focused on you.  You get amazing light.  You have an assistant making sure your hair is perfect.  You have someone posing you to bring out your best angles.  You get the magazine edit that all the fancy models get.  A senior photo session is a once in a lifetime experience.  We try with all of our hearts to make the experience soulful.  We want you to walk away knowing your beauty and having the chance to show it off to all the world.
