Boulder senior photo session ~ creative and beautiful
It’s senior photography season and I am in full swing photographing high school seniors in the front range area. From Boulder to Wyoming, Littleton and all the way to Minnesota, I have so many photo sessions booked for the upcoming weeks. This senior photo session was so beautiful. After two weeks of rescheduling photo sessions because of the rain, we waited until the last minute to decide whether or not to reschedule this one. My weather app kept saying rain, my trusty husband kept saying sun. :). We erred on optimism, and it was the right decision. Clouds gave way to a beautiful sunset with fingers of light streaming down from the sky. This girl really rocked the clothing. Her options from shoes all the way up to hear necklace and earrings were just perfect. It’s best when there’s a variety of color and texture in the clothes you choose for your photo session to maximize your gallery of images. The color choices of these clothes were so beautiful, brought out the color in her eyes and fit so well. From flowy to fitted, it all looked amazing. I always recommend my amazing personal stylist at Anthropologie in Boulder to work with my clients. She’ll get a room ready with clothes in your size and that photograph beautifully. We started this photo session in my backyard with my sunflowers that are blooming by the hundred. Few things make a prettier background for photos than sunflowers. Next, we drove a bit down the road and stopped at a few of my favorite locations. A fence here, a field there, and ended at a beautiful rock waterfall. My favorite photo galleries are the ones that are beautiful and creative. With light streaming in, varied backgrounds and lots of different angles. But my favorite photo is always the one that captures the big Colorado sky, with my subject happy and candid in the midst of all the natural beauty of our gorgeous state.
