My children do not fall into the cliche saying that the cobbler’s kids have no shoes.  There’s no lack of images documenting their childhood.  These two get photographed all the time.  Each time I bring my camera on a hike or we’re all playing outside and the light turns to rim light and I grab my camera, I never regret it.  We all look through the albums of each year since their birth and marvel the growth.  I feel these images express my love for this fleeting time in my life when I’m a mama to young children.  I want these precious days to last forever.  But I feel these images go down in the history of our lives as proof of the magic of their childhood.  Proof the velocity of our love for them.  When I get my camera ready to capture an image, I feel I have a responsibility to get it right.  And so I practice.  And practice.  And practice some more….
